Thank you so much for allowing me to observe one of your children for my practicum.

(Child) is such a wonderful person.  I found him to be very polite and easy going.  I also

enjoyed your child care centre.  I liked the way it is run and found it to have a relaxed

and enjoyable atmosphere.  All of your staff seem very pleasant and friendly.  I would

definitely recommend this childcare centre to other parents.

I have been so happy with the services your daycare has provided my family with so far.  Both my children have been coming since you opened your doors.  The job knowledge and compassion your staff have for the children they work with is far above my expectations.  My son has a disability and your centre has provided him with a support worker that has a wealth of experience and education in order to support him the best he can be supported.  Your open door policy is very comforting as a parent, I know I can stop in and visit my children, take them out for lunch, or just peek in and see how much fun they are both having!!  I trust that when I leave my children at your centre they are looked after and loved just as much as at home.

The survey page did not quite leave enough space for the appreciation and gratitude I would like to express to the supervisors and staff of Start Smart Childcare Centre.  Changing career directions would not have been as easy in transition for me without the assistance of supports like Start Smart Childcare Centre.  Not only did I go back to work full time, but also faced the challenge of my child being enrolled in a school that supports the alternate calendar days schedule which incorporates additional days off during the year for students.  Being newly employed witn any company requires a time commitment and a one year length of service demonstration before vacation days are given and Start Smart was open to care for my child and provided me with a piece of mind required to achieve my career goal in the first year.  Sanya and Calida both assisted me with the flexibility to get through the beginning stages with very little stress and I will forever be grateful.

My hat is off to Start Smart for incorporating the highschool student program into their services provided to assist the elementary school children with their homework.  This is an excellent peer program and provides an additional front-line knowledge in education.

In addition, I would like to thank all the staff at the centre for their great attitudes, proactive solution resolve and open communication to help assist each of the children who participate to develop into well balanced individuals.
